We are seeking a Solution Architect EIA to design and implement advanced automation and equipment integration solutions for semiconductor manufacturing environments. The role involves developing architectures that enable seamless communication and automation between manufacturing equipment and factory systems to enhance productivity, efficiency, and scalability.


Key Responsibilities

  1. System Architecture Design
    • Develop scalable and modular equipment integration architectures tailored to semiconductor manufacturing requirements.
    • Define communication protocols, data flows, and interface designs for seamless equipment integration.
  2. Automation Strategy Development
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to design end-to-end automation solutions that optimize factory operations.
    • Ensure that automation systems meet manufacturing process requirements and support future scalability.
  3. Equipment Integration
    • Design and implement solutions for integrating diverse manufacturing equipment into centralized control systems.
    • Define and validate equipment communication standards such as SECS/GEM, OPC-UA, or others.
  4. Implementation and Testing
    • Oversee the deployment of integration solutions, ensuring alignment with design specifications.
    • Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure system reliability and compliance with industry standards.
  5. Collaboration and Training
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineers, IT teams, and external vendors.
    • Provide technical training and support for end-users and operators.

Skills and Expertise

  • Integration Technologies: Strong knowledge of communication protocols (SECS/GEM, OPC-UA, MQTT, etc.) and middleware solutions for equipment integration.
  • Automation Systems: Experience in designing and deploying manufacturing automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, or MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Python, Java, or C#.
  • System Testing and Validation: Expertise in testing and validating integrated systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to handle complex implementation projects.
